I called Lori to schedule an appointment to see samples of the various styles featured on Sanctuary’s website. Lori was accommodating, warm, and professional. The headboards and bed frames she showed me were exquisite, as beautifully crafted as anything I had seen in the stores mentioned above, and better – because I was able to choose every detail, down to the foot style and the wood stain. Lori was very engaged in the process of “designing” my bed and was open to working on a design concept that was not in her repertoire of options; she has fantastic style and a knowledge of home decor from classic styles to modern trends. We tossed around several ideas in person and via email – she was lovely to work with and her opinion was invaluable. On a practical side, Sanctuary’s prices cannot be beat for such an outstanding product. The bed was delivered within three weeks, Lori arranged for the delivery and installation (convenient and seamless),and the finished product is my most prized piece of furniture. I had been seraching for weeks and weeks for an uphohlstered bed and went to every site searchable and every local store and just could not find what I was looking for, or found something that required the equivilant of a down-payment on a house! Just as I was about to settle for some “almost but not quite” what I wanted, I happened upon Sanctuary’s website. Being in New Jersey I was a little nervous about buying from a boutique clear across the country in California. However as soon as I started to correspond with Lori, I felt very at ease and confident that I had not only found the right source for my dream bed, but that this was a trustworthy place of business. Lori was very responsive and super helpful in helping me decide on the right bed for me, even sending me free fabric samples. I was able to customize everything from the fabric, nail head trim down to the feet. All of this at a very reasonable price at that! Lori kept the communication lines open, letting me know when my bed had been made and when to expect it for shipment. It took just about 3 weeks from the time I ordered to the time I received my custom made bed which is fabulous considering most places will tell you it will take them months to make. When my bed arrived it was more gorgeous that I had imagined. Great craftsmanship. I did not opt for the white glove delivery, and the head board was so huge that it took a lot of sweat and extra hands to get it up my stairs. But all the sweat was so very worth it. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new bed and finally have the bedroom oasis I have been longing for. I highly recommend Sanctuary Home – thank you Lori!

We absolutely love the new Cal King bed that Lori helped us design. From start to finish Lori made the entire design process so easy. I would be so bold as to say that her selection of fabrics rival most high end furniture stores, but unlike buying from a catalog or chain store, Lori works with you to add custom touches to make each piece special and unique. One of the big selling points for us was that since we have two very active dogs, we needed to find a fabric that would sustain them rubbing along side of it or occasionally jumping onto it. I had been set on linen but the faux white leather Lori showed us just made more sense. The leather is gorgeous and incredibly well textured, and once we saw how it looked on the bed we were completely blown away. The bed surpassed our wildest hopes and expectations.
After owning the bed for almost a year, it still looks brand new. The quality and workmanship is amazing. We are so happy that we worked with Lori and hope to order another piece soon. Maybe something for a nursery

I live in Texas and just received my custom Cole upholstered bed. It is just as beautiful as I hoped it would be! As an out of state customer, I can highly recommend the quality of their beds. The fabrics are high quality and the craftsmanship is high-end. I found a headboard I saw at Pottery Barn, had them send me a swatch of the color and then ordered it. Come to find out they were out of my size, so I went on a hunt to find a replica. I literally went and searched everywhere. I came across Sanctuary Boutique and met with Lori who helped me design exactly what I was looking for. She knew what my vision was and helped me along the way. When it was delivered and set up, it exceeded all my expectations. The workmanship was so beautiful and I do believe it is better than Pottery Barn’s
